BOB DOUGHERTY Golf Magazine's February 2003 "Top Teacher in the Southeast Region" Bob Dougherty has been teaching golf among the rolling hills of Pinehurst & Southern Pines, North Carolina, for over thirty-five years. He's worked alongside other top pro's like Bob Toski of the Golf Digest Schools and Jimmy Ballard, noted pro at the Miami-based Doral Resort. He's also coached and played alongside such celebrated tour players as Fuzzy Zoeller, Jim Gallagher, Larry Gilbert, Jim O'Hearn, Jim Barber, Dave Ogrin, and Ray Freeman.   Bob earned international recognition as the PGA Teacher of the Year in 1999 after being nominated in 1994, 1996 and again in 1997.  Shortly after this, he was appointed as one of the senior instructors at the PGA Players School.    Bob is deservingly proud of his annual service as a volunteer coach for Special Olympics.  In 1995, he was named Coach of the Year and appointed to the Special Olympics Sport Development Team.  In 1999, he received an appointment as the USA Golf Coach for the Special Olympics World Games!   With the enormous amount of time spent on the links, Bob still finds time to write a very popular golf column for 50 Plus Magazine.  He plays on the Senior Tour and, in 2000 and 2001, his name is prominently listed in the annual Golf Digest List of the Worlds Top 100 Teachers.   You know...there's a rumor out there that the swing doesn't exist that Bob Dougherty can't fix!

DALE EZYK

Dale, a retired submarine sailor, with a game honed by years spent underwater and little knowledge of the fundamentals of a sound golf swing chose golf as a second career relying on nothing more than a desire and a resounding love of the game. Through years of learning from and watching some of today's most prolific teachers he has developed a sound understanding of the swing and an uncanny ability to covey that knowledge to his students.  Having suffered through his own swingtransformation he can empathize with his students ordeal. With unbridled enthusiasm his lessons are peppered with stories, anecdotes, good humor and fun. Dale has secretly in his own mind been responsible for the resounding success of both Tiger Woods and Michael Phelps and has been very instrumental in wondering why Anika Soremstan is retiring.

If power driving your ball toward the green is your objective, Doug Thompson is your man!  Doug is on record as one of the longest hitters in the Carolinas.  He's also shared the distinction of playing on the South African Tour.
